Alanis Morissette Bares Baby Bump in Nude Photo

LOS ANGELES, June 30 — Alanis Morissette showed off her baby bump in a nude photo this week.

The 42-year-old singer shared a picture of herself posing naked underwater after announcing in February she and Mario Treadway, aka Souleye, are expecting their second child.

“‘You have to be extra gentle around ladies because they are the most helpful people in the world ’cause they make persons,'” she quoted her 5-year-old son, Ever Imre, in the caption.

Morissette had revealed her second pregnancy in a video featuring animated versions of herself and Souleye. The singer updates the video each year with highlights from their growing family.

“Brendan Huza helped tell our story in moving pictures, bringing us up to this sweet moment,” she wrote in February.

Morissette and Souleye married in 2010 and welcomed Ever the same year. The star gushed about her son to Us Weekly in May, calling him an “amazing,” inquisitive and talented child.

“He’s just coming into his own,” she said. “We’re having real bonafide philosophical conversations. About anything — about aliens, about the galaxy, about what God is, about animals.”

“He’s already writing [music],” the singer added. “He’s got great, impeccable timing. We are not pushing it on him, but he is just around it so much.”

Morissette last released Havoc and Bright Lights in 2012 and has her ninth studio album, Short Sharp Shrift, in the works. Souleye, a 36-year-old rapper, released his eighth record, Shapeshifting, in October.
