St. Thomas University junior Ben Ancheff started the NAIA World Series championship game against Lewis-Clark State Friday night, and the 6-foot-2, 300 pound pitcher took the Internet by storm. Ancheff, who started his collegiate career at Georgia before transferring, went 3-2 this season with a 4.71 ERA and 12 strikeouts in 21 innings pitched. On Friday Ancheff allowed one run in 4.1 innings, but STU would go on to lose the game 10-7.
