Auburn Tigers Defensive Coordinator Will Muschamp Gets 15-Yard Penalty for Shouting at Official

Emotions are always running high in a rivalry game like the Iron Bowl between Auburn and Alabama, but Auburn defensive coordinator Will Muschamp may have taken it to another level.

The coach erupted after officials assessed Auburn defensive back Rudy Ford a 15-yard personal foul for a late hit on Alabama quarterback Jacob Coker in the fourth quarter. The Auburn benched was also given a 15-yard penalty making it 30 extra yards for the Crimson Tide on a minimal gain.

Alabama went on to kick a field goal on the drive to push Alabama’s lead to 22-13. As expected, Muschamp was still not pleased. Auburn coaches had to restrain Muschamp on the sidelines.

That’s what you call intense.
