SANTA CLARA, Calif. — A die-hard Denver Broncos fan claims to have spent $21,000 on Super Bowl tickets, but he doesn’t want his wife to know.

SANTA CLARA, Calif. — A die-hard Denver Broncos fan claims to have spent $21,000 on Super Bowl tickets, but he doesn’t want his wife to know.

UPROXX.com reported that Justin Kerrigan told a news reporter that he dropped the money on the tickets for himself and three friends.

He told the reporter that the tickets cost $21,000 and with travel and other expenses, the total bill will be about $30,000.

“Don’t tell my wife,” Kerrigan told the reporter. The reporter asked him if he was joking and he claimed he wasn’t.

The Panthers take on the Broncos for Super Bowl 50 at 6:30 p.m. tonight at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif. It’s the first time the Panthers have been to the Super Bowl since 2004.
