Crowds of Syrian refugees were welcomed warmly into the kind arms of Canada Thursday night.
Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau personally greeted 160 of them. He even gave gifts and with them, promises of hope for their new home.

An act of kindness that surely would never be approved in America where the conversation on the refugee crisis is rocky at best. A vast selection of American citizens have made it well known they oppose accepting refugees by gun-toting protests and defacing places of worship.
PM Trudeau greeted more than 160 refugees in Toronto. He probably won’t stop there. Canada plans to take in a goal of nearly 25,000 refugees by the end of February.

It was a relief and a miracle for the refugees to be greeted by love, according to witnesses. The warm welcomes seemed almost overwhelming to some. One was even quoted as having claimed, “We feel as if we got out of hell and we came to paradise.”
Trudeau helped volunteers . They also were screened one more time at the airport and given permanent residency documents and health cards giving them access to free health care.
