Canelo Alvarez dominates Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. for unanimous decision victory

It was a boxing lesson from one of the best boxers in the world on Saturday

Canelo Alvarez put on an absolute boxing clinic on Saturday night, shutting down Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. with an emphatic performance, scoring a unanimous decision win 120-108 on all three judges’ scorecards.

Alvarez was never in any danger throughout the fight, simply toying with Chavez Jr. most of the night. Alvarez would back up against the ropes and let Chavez Jr. think he could make a move, only to put the pressure back on and keep his head spinning.
