‘Drake & Josh’ star Drake Bell Arrested in California on Suspicion of DUI

Drake Bell, the actor known for starring in the Nickelodeon sitcom Drake & Josh, was arrested early Monday morning in Glendale, California, on suspicion of driving under the influence, according to police.

Bell, 29, was pulled over at around 2:18 a.m. for lane straddling and unsafe speed, Glendale Police spokeswoman Tahnee Lightfoot told EW. The officer noticed the odor of alcohol coming from the car and conducted a field sobriety test, which Bell “did not satisfactorily complete.” He was released hours later on $20,000 bail and given a court date.

In addition to Drake & Josh, which ran from 2004 to 2007, Bell has provided the voice of Peter Parker in the Disney XD series Ultimate Spider-Man.

A representative for Bell could not be reached for immediate comment.
