Drake to Meek Mill: ‘I’m flattered’ You Think I Don’t Write my Own Raps

After Meek Mill tweeted that Drake doesn’t write his own raps, Drake is responding in the form of the mellowest diss track we’ve ever heard:

“Wow, I’m honored you think this is staged,” Drake raps in ‘Charged Up.’ “I’m flattered, man. In fact, I’m amazed.”

Indeed, Drake isn’t mad; he’s disappointed. The rapper is confident that Meek Mill will have to answer to a higher power for spreading lies about him having a ghostwriter. Drake says in the rap:

“I stay silent ’cause we’re at war and I’m very patient. 6 God is watching. I just hope you’re prepared to face him. I’m charged up.”

He continues in Charged Up:

“I seen it all coming. Knew they were pushing buttons. Easter egg hunting. They gotta look for something. Done doing favors for people. ‘Cause it ain’t like I need the money I make off a feature.”

Drake also seems to

So, what does Meek Mill have to say to all that? Um, that he “can tell he wrote” that “baby lotion soft” rap:
