Drunk, Violent Johnny Depp Goes Off on Amber Heard; Hurls Wine Glass

Footage purporting to show Johnny Depp in a destructive rage has been published on US gossip site TMZ in the midst of his messy divorce from estranged wife Amber Heard.

The video, which was allegedly secretly recorded by Heard, appears to show the 53-year-old actor yelling and slamming cupboard doors before grabbing a wine glass and smashing it off camera.

Heard, 30, can heard trying to calm Depp down and attempting to apologise for something, although it is unclear what.

“We were not even fighting this morning, all I did was say sorry,” Heard says.

“Did something happen to you this morning? I don’t think so,” Depp responds.

The Hollywood star then grabs a wine bottle and begins filling a glass to the top with red wine.

“You wanna see crazy? I’ll give you f***ng crazy … all your crazy,” Depp says.

“Have you drunk this whole thing this morning?” Heard asks Depp of the wine bottle.

Depp then notices the camera and becomes even more agitated, asking his wife: “Oh, you’ve got this f***ing thing going?”

Sources close to the actor told TMZ the clip is “heavily edited” and a deliberate set-up by Heard.

Heard filed for divorce from Depp on May 25 citing irreconcilable differences. On May 27, the actress was granted a temporary domestic violence restraining order against Depp.

A hearing on Heard’s allegations is scheduled for August 17. Depp’s lawyer has denied the claims.
