It wasn’t the first Technical foul that got Howard in a bad position, when he jawed at a referee. Nor the second one right on time in the final quarter when he grabbed his 6th foul and tossed the ball at the feet of an official — which got him catapulted from Game 4. At any rate that implied he didn’t need to watch whatever is left of his TEAM getting extinguished.

Maybe, it was his first foul of the diversion that earned him a $15,000 fine from the NBA, something the group reported on Monday.

With 9:21 remaining in the first quarter, Houston’s Terrence Jones had gone up for a top of the key jumper, and the Clippers DeAndre Jordan challenged it.
