Here’s How the US Presidential Race Would Pan Out if Facebook Likes Were Votes

Have you ever wondered who might win the US presidential election if we could vote through Facebook?

Well, to help visualize what that might result in, Facebook has teamed up with FiveThirtyEight to create an interactive map of the US, showing the number of Likes each candidate has gathered across the country.

Facebook isn’t a polling company so the results provide little insight into how the real voting will pan out, but it’s still interesting to see who is winning the race on social media.

If the Likes did equate to how people were going to vote, Bernie Sanders is well out in front and set to beat Hillary Clinton by a nearly 3-1 margin. Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio have the least amount of Likes, with Donald Trump garnering more than both candidates combined.
