H&M and Balmain Collaboration Collection to Release on Nov. 5

The Balmain and H&M collaboration collection will release on November 5, 2015 and it features the two designers in collaboration. The collection hit runways this week. From my experience, I know I am not able to flaunt Balmain style as a University student, because of the prices. In fact, I still cannot believe I have merchandise from the Saint Laurent Paris in Costa Mesa, CA, but am overall satisfied with my purchase. That is because these are pricier, but, H&M as I have always found, is very affordable, offering great prices, and in this collaboration, I found that the prices are friendlier to a broader population of customers.

According to Zarah Cheng at Hypebeast.com, the collection offers up to 109 pieces total and offers pieces that cater to both male and female shoppers. Of course the prices are at a range, and yes, contrary to what I said before about H&M not being pricey, this collection, although very appealing can range up to high prices for the merchandise it offers. The collection offers basic items, like the wardrobe essential, to “bigger-ticket luxury items,” said Cheng at Hypebeast.com.

These are some of the items offered in the men’s collection: the red Balmain X H&M jacket, which is priced around $349, the Balmain X H&M coat at $299, a black Balmain X H&M jacket, which seems to have zips and buckles and is priced at $129, a one-piece from the collection priced at $129 and tops that are priced lower. One item that was even above all of these prices was a really alluring jacket that flaunts a more luxurious style, and is black, at $649, according to Zarah Cheng at Hypebeast.com

The women’s collection is also offered, which offers Balmain X H&M pants at $99, other Balmain X H&M pants at $399, a skirt at $59.99, shoes at $199.99, black boots that are red at the bottom for $349, and a lavish belt at $199, according to Dhani Mau at Fashionista.com.

The intricately bountiful items from this collection have got me anticipating this new collection and I am indeed excited as a lover of fashion. Keep in mind, these are not all this available, as there are 109 piece total in the collection. Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, and designer Olivier Rousteing were among those the modeled in the campaign for this collection and were a part of the release.

The anti-Facebook: Snapchat IPO will be the largest in years

WHEN Snapchat first became popular in 2013, many thought the messaging app would disappear almost as quickly as its vanishing messages. Instead, it has become one of the most intriguing internet firms to emerge in years. When Snap, Snapchat’s parent company, goes public at an expected valuation of $20bn-25bn—the IPO is expected in March—its market debut will be the most closely watched since Alibaba, a Chinese e-commerce giant, floated in 2014. Snap’s offering documents may be filed publicly as soon as this week.
