Jacksonville, Florida: Amber Alert Issued for Missing 17-Year-Old

ORLANDO, Fla. – An Amber Alert was issued Wednesday night for a missing 17-year-old Orlando girl.

Orlando police said Alvedra Herbert was last seen Monday at 2751 Lake Stanley Road. Her family reported her missing Wednesday.

Police said Herbert was dropped off by a friend at an unknown male’s home, but that she has had some contact with friends. However, her safety is unknown.

Herbert is described as 5 feet 1 inch tall and 115 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black Acceleration Academy polo shirt with black pants.

Police said Herbert’s hair may have been cut and it may have a reddish tint. She also wears green contact lenses.

Police said Herbert may be in the Jacksonville area.

No other details were immediately released.

Anyone with any information on Herbert’s whereabouts is asked to call 911.
