The Charlotte Hornets trailed the San Antonio Spurs 30-7 early in the second quarter Monday. By the end of the night, a throwback to Linsanity had Charlotte escaping with a 91-88 win.
The Spurs led by 21 at the end of the 1st quarter. They were 22-0 in team history when leading by at least 20 after 1.

Jeremy Lin scored 29 points off the bench – including shooting 4-of-4 from beyond the arc – and grabbed seven rebounds to spark the Hornets, who outscored San Antonio 55-37 in the second half. Cody Zeller grabbed 14 rebounds for Charlotte.
The Spurs were two days removed from their biggest win of the season, holding the Golden State Warriors under 80 points for the first time in over two years and handing them only their seventh loss of 2015-16.
The Hornets are now 14-4 since the All-Star break.
