Kingman County, Kansas: 83-Year-Old Woman Dies in House Fire

KINGMAN, Kan. – The Kansas Fire Marshal’s office is investigating a deadly fire in Kingman.

The agency tweeted out the about the investigation Thursday morning.

“Investigators are on scene of fatal fire in Kingman,” read the tweet.

A Kingman County deputy says a woman died in the fire.

The woman’s daughter identified her as 83-year-old Alberta Bohrer.

She said Bohrer has three living daughters and 11 grandchildren. She also said her mother loved to garden.

A cause on the fire has not been released.
