Knoxville Mayor Madeline Rogero Responds To Allegations of Being In The KKK, “Don’t Re Ridiculous”

Monday, a list appeared on an online forum, claiming many elected officials are members of the KKK. Knoxville Mayor Madeline Rogero’s name was on the list.


She responded on Facebook to the allegation, saying, “Don’t be ridiculous.”

Lexington, Ky. Mayor Jim Gray was also listed. Gray responded in a similar way by saying, “This allegation is false, insulting and ridiculous. I have never had any relationship of any kind with the KKK. I am opposed to everything it stands for. I have no idea where this information came from, but wherever it came from, it is wrong.”
