Kris Jenner Celebrates 60th Birthday with ‘Great Gatsby’ Themed Party

If only F. Scott Fitzgerald were alive to see it.

Decked out in bejeweled dresses, crisp bowties and flawless coifs, the Kardashian-Jenner clan channeled the Roaring Twenties at an extravagant Great Gatsby-themed birthday party Friday night for matriarch Kris Jenner, rumored to have cost her kids $2 million.

Kourtney Kardashian slicked her hair back and suited up as the enigmatic Jay Gatsby, and Kendall Jenner donned a sparkly flapper ensemble and blond wig as the socialite Daisy Buchanan. The birthday girl, who turned 60 Thursday, stunned in a black bobbed wig and luxurious white fur stole.

The gang strutted and shimmied to jazz tunes on the massive West Hollywood soundstage rented out for the event, as evidenced by a Snapchat video posted by Kylie Jenner, who posed with a cigarette dangling between her pursed lips. The venue teemed with glitzy chandeliers and elaborate feather and flower arrangements.

Jenner seemed to have had a blast at her ’20s-themed soiree — in fact, photos show her passed out in the backseat of her limo after the event.

The decadent vintage-themed affair, which reportedly had about 300 guests, was a veritable roll-call of famous names: Kim Kardashian and Kanye West attended, as did model Chrissy Teigen and her husband, John Legend.

Jenner’s ex Caitlyn Jenner had reportedly planned to attend as well. She appeared in a video montage of family and friends screened during the event, lounging in a bubble bath with a glass of champagne and seemingly singing, “I love my friend!” West serenaded his mother-in-law with a spirited rendition of “Happy Birthday to You,” according to a guest’s video.

Kylie’s rapper boyfriend, Tyga, also attended, as did soap star Lisa Rinna and Kardashian family friend Jonathan Cheban.

Members of the reality-show family honored Jenner on Thursday with adoring social media posts.

“Happy birthday @krisjenner,” tweeted Caitlyn. “Enjoy the day with our wonderful family.”

Kim posted an Instagram selfie of herself with Jenner, captioning it, “Now that I’m a mom I have realized how hard your job is & no one does it better than you!” and Rob shared a watermarked stock photo of himself with her, writing, “MAMA I LOVE YOU!! P. O. P. Holding it down…. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY BEAUTIFUL MAMA??”

Even Jenner’s grandkids, 2-year-old North West and 3-year-old Penelope Disick, got in on the birthday fun — the TV personality posted a photo of cake and card gifted by the two toddlers.

Anyone want to crash Kris Jenner’s Gatsby themed birthday party tonight?

“I’m not sure how to express my feelings for the best birthday gift ever…. Except to say that in true Kris Jenner fashion, I BURST into tears,” Jenner captioned. “Beyond the best from my two little ballerinas.”
