'Love and Hip Hop Atlanta Star' Karen King Arrested for Identity Fraud

‘Love and Hip Hop Atlanta Star’ Karen King Arrested for Identity Fraud

A reality star on a popular VH1 TV show is in trouble with the law again.

Police say Karen King, of  “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” fame, is accused of participating in a fraud ring where employees at the store “knowingly rang sales that were being paid for with fraudulent credit cards and received kickbacks.”

According to police records, August 2015 video surveillance from an Atlanta Saks Fifth Avenue shows King entering the high-end retail store and present an employee with false identification.

Police say she and two other employees would split high-end merchandise and cash, and used stolen identification in the process.

Authorities say King was arrested at an Atlanta club, and has been charged with 1st Degree Forgery, Theft By Taking and Financial Transaction Fraud, and authorities say she was given a $30,000 bond.
