East Point Ga. – Man was taken into custody Friday afternoon will be charged in the kidnappings and rapes of at least two women in East Point.
Terry Young, 20, will be booked on kidnapping and rape charges.
Two women were attacked last week and forced to drive to an ATM and withdraw money. When they returned to one of the victim’s homes early Wednesday, police say the assailant raped both women at gunpoint.
“They forced them to go to ATM retrieve money. Once the money retrieved, they forced them back to residence where he commits a sexual assault on them,” said Capt. Cliff Chandler, of the East Point Police Department.

According to police, the Young was hiding in a water heater closet in an apartment near where the crimes happened.
Police say the same attacker could be connected to an attack on a teacher.
The teacher was able to positively identify Young in a line up shortly after his arrest.
Police say the teacher was taking a selfie in her school spirit shirt when she saw an armed man approaching from behind her.
The man forced his way into the car and asked from the back seat how much money the woman had. When she said she didn’t know, he struck her with the pistol.
Police say the armed man kissed the victim and then started groping her.
According to police, the armed man forced the teacher to take him to an Atlanta Wells Fargo on Camp Creek Parkway.
As she pulled up to the bank, the woman jumped out of her moving car and ran to a nearby Walgreens for help.
The man drove away. Shortly afterward, an officer found the car ditched at an apartment complex less than a mile from the woman’s home.
