Matt Damon battles to survive on Mars in first trailer for The Martian

20th Century Fox has released the first trailer for Matt Damon’s space traveler thriller “The Martian.”


“Help is just 140 million miles away,” the trailer notes.

Directed by Ridley Scott, “The Martian” takes after Damon’s space traveler character who’s stranded on Mars. He must make due in a merciless domain and figure out how to inform NASA that he’s still alive. Damon has been stuck for a long time at a science station that is intended to bolster him for 31 days.

The film likewise stars Kate Mara, Jeff Daniels, Jessica Chastain and Kristen Wiig. Drew Goddard composed the screenplay, in view of Andy Weir’s novel of the same name.

Fox screened footage of the pic in April at CinemaCon, where it evoked an in number reaction from exhibitors.

The film hits theaters on November 25.
