Mormons Release 2015 Christmas Video: “A Savior Is Born”

The Church recently released their 2015 Christmas video, “A Savior Is Born.” With this video, the Church is hoping to combat the busyness of the Christmas season and help people across the world focus on the importance of the Savior’s birth, life, and mission–the true purpose for celebrating this season.

“We live in a world where the power and influence of God in our daily lives are downplayed and dismissed and where the need for a Savior is ignored and even mocked,” says Elder Dallin H. Oaks. “For those who are devoted to the Lord Jesus Christ, there has never been a greater need for us to profess our faith in our Savior, privately and publicly” (“A Savior Is Born,” Ensign, Dec. 2015).

The Church is encouraging all members to view and share this video in the hopes of bringing more light to the world for our dear Savior’s birth. For more about this campaign, check out Christmas.Mormon.org.
