Nicki Minaj Reunites with Drake, Shares Young Money Squad Pic with Lil Wayne

Nicki Minaj‘s relationship with Meek Mill may have put a damper on her friendship with Drake — but now that the Queens rapper is single, the Young Money band looks to be getting back together.

In an Instagram post on Wednesday (Feb. 1), Minaj shared a captionless photo of her with the 6 God. While Drake is currently on his The Boy Meets World tour in Europe, it’s not clear where or when the flick was taken.

She also showed a #squadgoals pic of her with Drake and Young Money boss Lil Wayne. “#TheBIG3 #YoungMoney — ,” read Nicki’s caption while the photographer, YM president Mack Maine offered more context on his Instagram. “he Big 3! My family! I honestly missed this sh*t! Had to make em laugh to get that magic out! Ps Nicki take a 100 pics to get the one lol..da Queen –#2017 #Mula #UnitedWeStand—-#FreeC5”

On wax, Minaj and Drake have clocked in several collaborations like 2009’s “Best I Ever Had (Remix),” 2010’s “Up All Night” and “Moment 4 Life,” 2011’s “Make Me Proud,” 2014’s “Only” as well as 2015’s “Truffle Butter.” For his 2010 debut, Thank Me Later, the Toronto MC even offered a proposal of sorts to Minaj on the track “Miss Me”: “I love Nicki Minaj/I told her I’d admit it/I hope one day we get married just to say we f–king did it/ And girl I’m f–king serious/I’m with it if you with it/’Cause your verses turn me on and your pants are mighty fitted.” The Internet may also remember that time Nicki gave Drake a lap dance in her GIF-able “Anaconda” video.

Last April, Drake spoke to Beats 1’s Zane Lowe in the heat of his Meek Mill feud and revealed that he and Minaj were not on speaking terms. “I don’t really talk to Nicki,” he said. “Again, another person that I have a lot of love for and a lot of respect, not only for our past and how much work and time we put in, but even just the way she dealt with the situation [regarding Birdman and Lil Wayne] at hand.”

He added of her then-relationship with Mill, “I understand what love is, and I understand a personal situation. She dealt with me how I would expect her to, which was with class, and I could only ever do the same. There were points in time where I was waiting to see like, how is this going to go, how deep is your love, you know? You gotta ask yourself that.”

Whether this reunion could equate to new music, perhaps on Drake’s forthcoming More Life project, Nicki Minaj’s upcoming fourth album or Lil Wayne’s trio of slated releases including Tha Carter V, Funeral and Dedication 6, has yet to be revealed.
