‘Panda’ Rapper Desiigner Arrested on Gun, Drug Charges

Brooklyn rapper Desiigner – known for his hit single “Panda” – was arrested on gun and drug charges Thursday night after he pointed a gun at a driver near the Lincoln Tunnel.

The 19-year-old rap star, real name Sidney Selby, was riding in a white Cadillac Escalade with four other passengers when he got into an argument with another driver near West 42nd Street and 8th Avenue.

Desiigner, who hails from Bedford-Stuyvesant, aimed a gun and flicked a cigarette toward the 42-year-old victim from the backseat of the SUV, police said.

The singer and his crew then sped away.

But the victim called cops and provided them with the vehicle description.

A short time later police pulled their vehicle over across town on West 42nd Street and 3rd Avenue.

Police spotted some pills, hypodermic needles and weed in plain view and cuffed all five men.

Selby was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of a controlled substance and menacing.

The other occupants all face drug charges.
