Paul Pierce Game Winning Shot ‘I called Game’

Washington Wizards forward Paul Pierce said before the playoffs started that neither the Toronto Raptors nor the Atlanta Hawks  had the “it factor” that frightened adversaries. He’s since gone about demonstrating that regardless he still has it. The 37-year-old sunk the Raptors in game 3 of the first round with a couple of backbreaking 3-pointers, and he beat himself on Saturday in game 3 of the second round.

With 14.1 seconds left and the game tied 101-101 – the Hawks had returned from a 20-point shortfall – Pierce number was called. He had a mismatch against the smaller Dennis Schroder, and he got to his sweet spot at the left elbow. Kent Bazemore gave help, however it was past the point of no return. Like Derrick Rose the prior night in Chicago, Penetrated and Money!!!!
