Prostitute Brings 14-Month-Old Child to Meeting With Client in Western New York

Ciara Steffen told the client, an undercover officer, that she would leave the child in the bathroom during their meeting. Steffen was arrested on charges of prostitution and child endangerment.

“Bring your tot to work day” isn’t for everyone.

A 25-year-old western New York mom was busted after she brought her toddler along for a visit with a john.

Turns out, her potential client was an undercover cop conducting a prostitution sting.

Ciara Steffen showed up to an Amherst hotel with the 14-month-old tot and told her “john” she’d leave the child in the bathroom during the tryst, cops in the Buffalo suburb said. But things turned south for the young mom when the client revealed he was actually a cop.

Steffen was busted after a brief struggle, police said. She’s being held at the Erie County Jail.

It’s unclear who now has custody of the child.

The alleged escort faces charges of child endangerment and prostitution.
