Rachel Roy Faces Renewed Jay Z Affair Rumors Over Instagram Post Following Beyoncé’s ‘Lemonade’ Release

Rachel Roy just got stung by the Beyhive once again.

The fashion designer — whose close connection with Jay Z once sparked affair rumors — faces new scrutiny after posting a cryptic message to Instagram following the release of Beyoncé’s “Lemonade” album and music video.

In the evocative “Lemonade” project, Beyoncé seems to hint at Jay Z’s infidelity in multiple tracks, notably punctuating a verse in her song “Sorry” by proclaiming, “He better call Becky with the good hair.”

Several hours after the song dropped, Roy posted an Instagram photo of herself and a friend with the caption, “Good hair don’t care, but we will take good lighting, for selfies, or self truths, always.”

“Live in the light,” the captioned continued. “#nodramaqueens.”

The post immediately sparked speculation among fans that Roy had just outed herself as the subject of the singer’s new song.

“Are you Becky?” one hand-wringing fan posted in the photo’s comments section.

Another simply added: “Becky with d good hair.”

Several hours later, Roy took down the photo before making her Instagram account private.

Roy appeared to respond to the onslaught of fan responses Sunday afternoon, tweeting, “I respect love, marriages, families and strength. What shouldn’t be tolerated by anyone, no matter what, is bullying, of any kind.”

Roy was at the center of the drama in 2014 after Solange Knowles punched and kicked Jay Z in an elevator at a Met Gala afterparty.

The fashion designer was previously married to Jay Z’s old business partner Damon Dash — who worked with the rapper on both his Roc-a-Fella Records label and his Rocawear clothing line. Jay Z bought out Dash’s share of the clothing company in 2005.

But in 2014, Roy was linked to Jay Z once again after Beyonce’s sister Solange was caught on video punching and kicking the rapper in an elevator at a Met Gala after-party at the Standard Hotel in the Meatpacking District.

Sources told the Daily News at the time that Solange’s attack was triggered by the hip-hop mogul getting “too close” to Roy at the party.

“Rachel is a little too close to Jay Z,” a source said. “Solange doesn’t like it, and Beyoncé doesn’t like it.”

Beyoncé has remained mostly silent about the incident, but she appeared to insinuate she was cheated on throughout her eclectic “Lemonade” setlist.

“Looking at my watch, he shoulda been home,” she declares in “Sorry.” “Today I regret the night I put that ring on. He always got them f—king excuses. I pray to the Lord you reveal what his truth is.”
