Ruby Rose Responds To Kanye West Sex Lyrics About Taylor Swift

Kanye West unveiled his new album and fashion collection in a dramatic show watched by 20 million, placing himself and the Kardashian/ Jenner clan firmly front and centre.

But his artistic output is being overshadowed by his choice of words after a furious backlash against lyrics apparently targeting Taylor Swift.

Ruby Rose has now become the latest high-profile star to distance herself from the rapper on Friday.

The gender fluid actress said she would be unable to still support West and call herself a feminist, or a friend, over his new track from his album T.O.L.P, “Famous”.

In a line from “Famous”, he raps: ”I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/ Why? I made that b***h famous.”

After disappointed reactions from Gigi Hadid and Jaime King, Rose highlighted a number of controversial comments West has made in recent weeks about women, including the slut-shaming remarks he directed towards Amber Rose and a claim about Bill Cosby’s innocence. Rose warned “too many lines” have been crossed.

She also admonished West for targeting Taylor right before “another huge moment for her”.

Swift’s brother Austin reacted more indirectly by uploading a video of himself “spring cleaning”, which translated as throwing a pair of Yeezy trainers in the bin.

Getting a head start on some spring cleaning. Here we go again.
