Saskatoon, Saskatchewan School Creates Buddy Bench To Help Kids Make Friends

Willowgrove School in Saskatoon has created a Buddy Bench – a bench where children can sit to let others know they’re looking for a friend. Other students, meanwhile, are encouraged to go over and ask the seated child(ren) to play. It’s a great idea which seems to work. A 7 year-old student told CBC News that when he used the Buddy Bench, it only took a minute before other kids asked him to play. Awesome!
