A mother found a razor blade in a Snickers chocolate bar while inspecting Halloween candy, the Tyler County Sheriff’s Office said Saturday. Police advised parents to check candy from the holiday.
The candy was collected Thursday, Oct. 29 at a trick-or-treating event in Middlebourne, West Virginia.
She brought the candy bar into the Tyler County Sheriff’s Office and gave it to deputies.
Tyler County Sheriff Bob Kendle said they haven’t had any other incidents like this, however, if there are any concerns after inspecting the candy collected, take the candy to your local law enforcement agency.
