Actor Ron Lester is listed in critical condition at a Dallas hospital, TMZ Sports is reporting.

The 45-year-old, best known for his role as Billy Bob in “Varsity Blues” has been in the medical center for nearly four months, the gossip website said.

Lester, who also had roles in “Not Yet Another Teen Movie,” “Freaks and Geeks” and “Popular” was hospitalized in November because of problems with his liver and kidneys, TMZ said.

He seemed in “good spirits” when he revealed to the website in January that he also had problems with his heart.

The actor had gastric bypass surgery in 2001 after allegedly weighing nearly 500 pounds. He lost 350 pounds.
