Vehicles Crash, Causing Fire That Killed 2 People in Dan Ryan Expressway, Chicago


Two men died when their vehicle crashed and caught fire late Tuesday on a ramp from the Dan Ryan Expressway in Chicago’s Chinatown neighborhood, officials said.

The single-vehicle crash occurred on the feeder ramp near Cermak Road around 11:20 p.m., according to Illinois State Police.

The vehicle was going fast when it crashed into a wall and caught fire, police said.

The two men, whose ages were not immediately known, were pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
