Bob Cross, who works for Critter Capture Services in Lake Mary, is used to rounding up snakes, raccoons — anything that can be a nuisance animal.
On Saturday, when a next-door neighbor asked for help, Cross got a big surprise, according to WFVT-Channel 9.
Lying in the neighbor’s yard was a Florida black bear that had gotten into a garage and ripped open a 20-pound bag of dog food. And, like many of us after a big Thanksgiving dinner, the bear decided to snooze after finishing its lunch.
Cross snapped several images of the bear until he couldn’t keep the camera steady. He was laughing too hard at the bear as it stretched and rolled about on the lawn.
Cross told WFTV this was one critter he didn’t want to tangle with. So he let it wander off once it awakened.
