VIDEO Daniel Radcliffe Is the Worst Receptionist Ever for Funny Prank

Daniel Radcliffe recently found out that he has no idea how to succeed in business, despite the fact that he tried really, really hard. The British star, 25, gave his best shot at being an office receptionist for a hilarious new prank video that made its way online on Wednesday, July 15.

The Harry Potter alum took over the phones and everyday office tasks on a visit to Nylon magazine’s New York City headquarters. Dressed for the job in a blazer and a collared shirt, Radcliffe picked up a few tips from Lauren Adler, the mag’s actual receptionist, before giving it a go.

Radcliffe blended into his surroundings at first, quietly sitting at the desk as unassuming staff members walked by without noticing the star in their midst. The jig was up soon after, however, as various employees found a way to introduce themselves, snap selfies, and shake Radcliffe’s hand.

“I loved your work in Harry Potter,” one man gushed, speaking around the lollipop in his mouth. “And the horse play you did! I didn’t see it, but…”

The Kill Your Darlings actor continued his turn behind the desk, attempting to welcome visitors, accept packages, and hand out bathroom keys.

“It’s already proving to be like, the hardest thing I’ve ever done,” he admitted. “I’m struggling under the pressure. I’m cracking already, it’s not been good.”
