A recent article in the New Yorker about the expected mega quake in the Pacific Northwest had a blurb about why dogs seem to have a few seconds heads up. It has something to do with the frequency of the initial shockwave that travels ahead of the shaking being at a level the human ear doesn’t pick up. Dogs hearing range is shifted just up or down the spectrum enough that they hear this and are often startled to attention a few seconds before the shaking starts.
Maybe Alec Baldwin’s Donald Trump impersonation is… too good? Dominican newspaper El Nacional apologized on Saturday after mistakenly using a photo of Baldwin dressed as President Trump on “Saturday Night Live,” instead of president himself.
