Virginia State Police: Man’s Body Found in Gloucester Ditch

A man’s body was found in a ditch along a Gloucester County highway Sunday morning.

A Virginia State Police trooper was flagged down around 9:46 a.m. by a passerby who had found the body in a ditch off of John Clayton Highway, according to a statement from the State Police.

The man was dead, said police, who are trying to identify him.
