Wedding of Iggy Azalea and Nick Young Postponed

Wedding of Iggy Azalea and Nick Young Postponed

After two years of dating and a June engagement, Iggy Azalea and Nick Young who have been together since 2013 have put their wedding plans on pause.

It has been a rough year for Iggy Azalea. Not only was she bashed by everyone from Erykah Badu to co-singer, Britney Spears, her  2015 Great Escape arena tour was cancelled. And it seems Iggy Azalea’s blues may have continued way past New Year’s. Unfortunately, she will also have postponed wedding bells to add to her list. The news was revealed in an interview Friday with On Air with Ryan Seacrest by the 25-year-old Australian, Team singer. On a brighter note, the nuptials of Azalea and her 30-year-old Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard were postponed to accommodate the singer’s new tour.

“[I] actually moved my wedding ’cause I have to tour, so my wedding plans are changing,” the star said. “It was going to happen at the end of the year but now I have to go to work. We’ll probably have to wait until the end of the next basketball season to do that.”

“[Nick is] really awesome and great and totally understanding and does not mind,” she shared. “He’s like, ‘I can be a bachelor for longer’ and like, he’s really milking it, he’s really milking the whole thing. So he’s really happy.”

So, it seems the luck of Iggy Azalea is looking up. Azalea released The New Classic in 2014 and is scheduled to debut her second  studio album, Digital Distortion, sometime this year. In addition to plans for a concert tour, the singer just returned to the airwaves with a bad-ass new single and independence anthem called “Team”.  The single incorporates a lyric video and intense dance moves. If this is anything to by, we can expect a go-hard comeback tour from the Australian singer.
