Zayn Malik’s Comments on Women and One Direction

We all know that Zayn Malik is one of the hottest, most talked about names in popular culture today. With a new romance brewing with Gigi Hadid and his solo album preoccupying fans’ minds, the 22-year-old musician is also very vocal about his past, his relationships, and his time with One Direciton, the popular UK boyband that he was a part of, formerly.

Last year, he and Perrie Edwards, member of all-girl music group from the UK, Little Mix, broke up after a long time together. According to Ann Lee at, Malik and Gigi Hadid got together in November of 2015, at the AMA’s and Lee uses the term “inseperable” to describe he two. Well, they have been spotted together numerous times!

When asked about his ideal woman, he answered with two specific words, “chunky” and “intellectual.” Does this mean he is suggesting Perrie lacks these things? Let us venture further into what Malik had to say.

He is reported to have said that he wants a “challenge” and a girl who is “chunky in certain areas.” He likes to hear someone’s opinions and venture beyond the superficial details. I can also pose the other question to if Zayn is calling his model-girlfriend chunky! Is he?

It is also very popular that the 22-year-old had quit the boyband, One Direction, that he was a part of, back in March 2015. The relationship he had once claimed to be forever a friendship has now deteriorated with the former bandmates. Aside from the other details, in its most simplistic form, he indeed states they have not responded to his text messages.
